Detox Diet

Detoxing your body at regular intervals is good. This does not however mean that you have to stay away from junk food and beer for a few days. The body being a storehouse of toxins, when there is too much of it, the immune system does not function properly and also leads to the damage of other body parts.

When there are high levels of toxins, these transform into radicals that lead to medical problems.

A body detox diet is the best way to do this as the benefits of it are well proved by research. By detoxifying, the cholesterol levels are brought down. Allergies are treated better, chemical levels in the body are balanced and life span is increased.

Many people recommend this diet including those people who have got rid of addictions, and many celebrities recommend these detox diet. The quality of life is improved with an increase in energy, weight loss, and better digestion capacity, high resistance, getting rid of fatigue and improving mental mind.

A healthy diet is always a key to all this but, many realize this only late in life and that is too late as toxins are already accumulated. So, to get back to normalcy, detox diet becomes essential.

Of detox diets, there are many types like liquid diet, which is comprised of fruit juices and water only. There are also diets where fish consumption is increased and calorie consumption is decreased. Herbal detox diets are also recommended. Own diet catalogues can also be created.

One straightforward diet is the grape diet, where only grape is consumed. This could however be in any form. One more diet is lemon diet. This is the best and in this diet, it will be best to add lemon to the water consumed as water is a good detoxing agent and it also nourishes the body with vitamin C.

At least 64 ounces of this has to be drunk. In lemon diet, freshly squeezed lemon and B grade organic maple syrup of 2 tablespoons each are mixed to 1/8 of cayenne pepper in a cup of fluoride free water. Cabbage diet or gazpacho diet, which is a Spanish mixture consisting of tomatoes, clove, cucumber, garlic and bell peppers are also good, if consumed as cold soups.  A detox diet has to be chosen with care and implemented cautiously.
